BEA releases newer version of AquaLogic Service Bus

BEA's AquaLogic Service Bus version 2.5 is available today. This follows the recent announcements about BEA's WebLogic Server 9.2, WebLogic Portal 9.2 and Workshop for WebLogic 9.2.

New features include a dynamic routing capability, a "custom transport SDK feature that enables you to add custom connectivity options" to ALSB, enhanced JMX and SNMP features, two new transports: EJB over RMI and Tuxedo, new actions that can be used to configure the message flow, security enhancements and more.

BEA AquaLogic Service Bus 2.5 is an Enterprise-class Service Bus designed for connecting, mediating and managing interactions between heterogeneous services, not just Web services, but also Java and .Net, messaging services and legacy endpoints.

It uniquely delivers the integration capabilities of an Enterprise Service Bus with operational service management in a single product with an efficient, seamless user experience.

With its flexible deployment options, run-time policy enforcement and automated integration with business service registries, BEA AquaLogic Service Bus is designed to handle the deployment, management and governance challenges of implementing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) from department to enterprise scale.
